Security

We take security very seriously and spend a lot of time and effort ensuring our site is as secure as possible.

SSL Encryption

All our checkout pages and all other pages containing sensitive personal information are always only delivered over a secure ("SSL") connection to your browser. This is standard practice for all reputable sites.

On SSL protected pages, your browser will show a padlock icon. There are many types of web browser, but usually this icon will be shown in the browser's status bar.

Database Encryption

We encrypt certain key data (such as passwords) in our database and further encrypt all our backups to keep your data secure.

Minimal Data

Unlike some sites, we demand the minimal amount of data from you in the first place. Furthermore, we have strict policies to remove or obscure data that is only needed in practice for a short period (to prevent fraud).
